Zoë was classically trained at Oberlin Conservatory, and has used that training as a departure point into the performance of multiple genres of music, from traditional chamber, orchestral, and solo work to rock, folk, and all kinds of improvisation. She has played all over the United States with artists and ensembles such as Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Ronnie Dunn, Mannheim Steamroller, the Addams Family Broadway Tour, Phantom! the Vegas Spectacular, The Las Vegas Philharmonic, and many more. She also is a member of an original rock band and a folk trio, has toured in Greece with an experimental theater company, maintains active with chamber music playing from duos to quartets and larger ensembles, and is working on several secret solo projects that are delightfully exciting. While acoustic cello holds a special place in her heart, she has an absolute blast playing on her electric cello, which she straps on with a special harness, allowing for complete mobility and the freedom to completely rock out. Zoë’s specialty is versatility, and she relishes jumping into each new project, no matter the genre, instrumentation or setting.
